GCyber is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support a mission critical DoD Environment.

**Given the classified nature of the work, this position will be located 100% onsite at the customer location.


As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain solutions using Amazon C2S-enabled architectures and tools, including Ansible, CloudFormation, JMETER, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, Terraform, and S3.
  • Develop and deliver an approach for automated acceptance testing, including tools and processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Create and implement an approach for automated integration and regression testing, including selecting the right tools and processes for consistent quality.
  • Manage and sustain both unclassified and classified integration and testing environments, both on-prem and in the cloud, ensuring all technologies are validated before production deployment.
  • Stage new and upgraded service components in the integration and testing environments to prepare them for deployment.
  • Develop scripts as needed to support operational procedures, enhancing efficiency and automation.
  • Make adjustments to new or upgraded service components based on testing feedback, validating the improvements.
  • Work on improving and sustaining unclassified and classified CESO environments, enhancing cloud infrastructure and architecture to support continuous development and integration using modern practices and tools.
  • Maintain clear documentation of the code developed for the CESO environments, ensuring knowledge is easily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Actively participate in the release management process to ensure smooth transitions from development to production.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • BA/BS Degree (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
  • 6+ years relevant experience with expertise in cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code concepts
  • Hands on experience implementing Amazon C2S enabled architectures and tools to include Ansible, Cloud Formations, Terraform, JMETER, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, Puppet, Docker, GIT and S3.
